10’s Bachelor Bins No Sex Rule! Get Ready For MAFS Level Love Rat Chaos

10’s The Bachelor has axed the no-sex rule in a clear attempt to spice the upcoming season up, and who can be mad at that?

There’s been a trend in 2022 that has found that wholesome dating shows aren’t getting the eyeballs that Nine’s less wholesome, more explosive Married At First Sight grabs.

Seven’s Farmer Wants A Wife averaged around 500k, and 10’s Love Boat sunk with viewers. So, it makes sense the network is attempting to add some spice to its flagship dating show.

The Bachelor is returning and is the first cab off the rank for 2023, and 10’s ready to start with a bang.

The show has also had a format spice-up, with the network multiplying The Bachelor by three, and now it has been confirmed the sex ban has been lifted. So, are we about to get the spiciest season yet?

Kyle Sandilands, as per usual, was the one that got the gossip. During an interview with the three bachelors, Jed McIntosh, Felix Von Hofe, and Thomas Malucelli.

News.com.au reported that Sandilands, in shock jock style, asked if there was any “rooting” during filming.

Bachelor Jed McIntosh replied that they had “options!”

This led Sandilands guest co-host and former Bachelor star Brittany Hockley to react in shock.

She said: “This is very new to the franchise, very new to me. You’re not even left alone on previous seasons. You could not even do anything if you tried.”

While no one confirmed if any actual sex will happen in the upcoming season, McIntosh added: “It gets much steamier than it has on any of the other Bachelors before.”

10’s 9th season of The Bachelor is debuting in January with 3 Bachelors and Osher Ginsberg trying to host his way through the chaos – the tagline is Beach than Bach.
