Meta Launches New Podcast Exploring Online Advertising & Marketing
Meta has today launched a new podcast series, Connected which tells the lesser-known stories and explores the past, present and future in key areas of marketing, advertising and consumer behaviour. You can listen to the first episode HERE.
The new season is hosted by HardHat founder and behavioural science guru Dan Monheit, and features a range of industry luminaries giving their insights on key topics.
In the five-episode season, Monheit explores several topics including the the evolution of online advertising and how brands are adapting for a more transparent future.
Monheit will host a variety of experts on the matter, including internet historian Brian McCullough, IAB Australia CEO Gai Le Roy, social media strategist Meg Coffey, WPP AUNZ president Rose Herceg, and Spotify’s Belle Taylor;
Connected will also explore attention as a marketing metric, with marketing science expert Dr Karen Nelson-Field, Coles CMO Lisa Ronson and globally renowned media strategist Faris Yakob adding their expertise to the subject.
The ways in which messaging apps are creating new opportunities for brands will also be discussed, with insights from Warehouse Group CMO Jonathan Waecker and social researcher Claire Madden.
“Following the huge success of the award-winning Face 2 Face podcast series, we wanted to evolve the channel to look at some of the most important industry challenges and give marketers an entertaining and informative new resource,” said Meta director of marketing Australia, Alexandra Sloane.
“With the marketing world evolving so rapidly we wanted to take time to explore these topics, and the punchy 20-minute episodes pack in a lot of information, insights and inspiration to help marketers get to grips with the ever-changing landscape.”
The podcast is produced by marketing content specialists Clear Hayes Consulting.
New episodes of Connected will be available weekly across all major podcast platforms.
