Havas Group has appointed David Angell as chief commercial officer for the Asia Pacific region.
In this newly created regional role, Angell will drive cross-regional business growth and go-to-market strategy with the objective of enhancing the network’s competitive advantage and positioning in sync with its “Together” strategy of collaboration and integration.
Angell (above left) will report to Mike Amour (above right), chairman & CEO of Havas Group, Asia Pacific and work closely with regional and market leadership teams.
The appointment is effective immediately.
Angell joins Havas Group from marketing management consultancy, TrinityP3, where he held the position of general manager for the last four years, based out of Melbourne.
Prior to that, Angell had a prolific 15-year agency career that included stints at Starcom, Zenith, Ikon and Mindshare across Australia and United Kingdom.
Angell has extensive experience in agency operations, client leadership, new business, strategic consultancy, and in the selection, development of commercial agreements between agencies, marketers and procurement teams.
