Melbourne’s RMIT has announced it will hold its seventh annual Pitch Night networking event on Tuesday 9 October 2018.
Pitch Night offers the chance for industry professionals the opportunity to network and interview RMIT advertising graduates.
A team of graduating students plan the event, develop a communications campaign, seek out sponsorship and manage the finances. With help from second-year students, the Pitch Night Team runs the entire event.
For the first time, Pitch Night 2018 will be held in RMIT’s award-winning Media Portal, on the corner of Swanston Street and Franklin Street.
Esther Clerehan, chair of RMIT’s School of Media and Communication Industry Advisory Committee, said: “Smart people in the industry will be at RMIT Pitch Night because they don’t want to miss the chance to snap up such awesome new talent, and this year’s is an outstanding group.”
Tickets for the event are limited and are on sale now. Any remaining individual general admission tickets will be released on Monday 24 September 2018.
Any agencies who sponsor the event will be guaranteed an interviewing table as well as a number of other exclusive benefits.
