Radio King Kyle Sandilands has thrown his hat in the ring for Seven’s Australian Idol reboot.
Yes, the show that brought us Mark Holden’s iconic phrase, “Touchdown!” Is coming back revamped and refreshed, and Sandilands has gone on record to say he’d be down to return!
Sandilands of course was part of the original series, although he got axed as a judge in 2009 after the infamous lie detector stunt on The Kyle and Jackie O Show – show, where he interrogated a teenager on her sexual history, live on air while her mum listened in – ultimately the teenager revealed she was raped.
However, Sandilands isn’t holding a grudge, the shock jock The Daily Mail reported that he said: “If they rang up and asked me to do Australian Idol! I’d say yes because it’s fun and easy.”
Sandiland went on to explain that plenty of reality shows are after for him to appear, he said: “I have been asked to go on every show…with the possible exception of Dancing with the Stars,
