10’s News Breakfast Show Gets The Chop Within Six Months

10’s News First Breakfast show has been sadly axed after being haunted by low ratings.

10’s News First Breakfast was interestingly missing from a press release the network sent around about its 2023 line-up.

Lachlan Kennedy and Natasha Exelby co-hosted the canned breakfast show that unfortunately failed to find a solid audience.  The show famously made headlines when The Australian reported that in July, only 44 in Sydney tuned into an episode per Oz Tam’s reporting.

Instead, Everyday Gourmet with Justine Schofield and Entertainment Tonight reruns will take over the time slot.

Interestingly, Studio 10 sans Sarah Harris, who is making the jump to The Project, is launching into 2023 with a shortened time slot starting at 10 am and running until 12 pm. Previously, it started at 8.30 and ended at midday.
