“Gymtimidation!” Hilarious Ad For Fitness Chain Is One We Can All Relate
Let’s face it, unless you’re one of those tiresome body/health fanatics we mere mortals see a visit to a gym as an unfortunate but necessary evil.
Playing on that very idea comes a new spot from UK fitness franchise, The Gym Group, that it says tackles “gymtimidation”.
The work of London agency Lucky Generals, the ad’s an interesting take on fitness and says we can all be a little (or very?) self-conscious when visiting a gym, particularly for the first time.
Featuring a catchy tune called “Gym Face”, the work is sung/narrated by UK comic Will Hislop. The song was written by Lucky Generals and recorded by Leland Music.
The new campaign is set to run across BVOD, radio, digital out-of-home, social and owned channels.
