“Dropping Like Flies!” Sunrise Loses Both Hosts Temporarily To Illness

David ‘Kochie’ Kosh has been off Sunrise due to COVID-19, and now his co-host Natalie Barr has been forced to take a day off from the highly-rated morning show due to illness.

If you tuned into Sunrise this morning, you would have noticed that Natalie Barr wasn’t in her usual seat. Coupled with the fact that Kochie is still off because he is recovering from COVID-19, neither of the iconic duo was there to host the show tragically.

Thankfully, Monique Wright was there to fill in alongside Matt Shirvington.

Wright said: “Good morning, welcome to Thursday. Great to have your company.”

Then Wright launched in with this zinger, “They’re’ dropping like flies here at Sunrise!.”

Wright did clarify that Barr hadn’t been struck down by COVID-19. Which should mean she’ll be back soon, yay!

Honestly, she isn’t wrong; thankfully, both Kochie and Barr are set to make a full recovery and thank god because now Carrie Bickmore is set to take extended leave from The Project to go on a holiday. We need the rest of our anchors to stay put!
