LiSTNR has today announced long-time radio duo Mike E & Emma will now host the new RnB Fridays radio station’s breakfast show.

The duo – who are known for their relatable, nothing off-limits, entertaining, and honest radio personalities – will bring their show back to life every weekday with hip-hop and RnB music selection their fans love.

Originally made famous on the Hit Network which evolved into unforgettable nation-wide stadium tours that brought some of the globe’s biggest RnB artists to Australia, RnB FRIDAYS Radio is now its own 24/7 channel on LiSTNR and DAB+ with a live national weekday breakfast show.

Mike Etheridge and Emma Chow first began their radio journey together in 2010 on Sydney’s The Edge 96.1, and have since become one of Australia’s longest standing and most popular radio duos.

“We’re thrilled to be joining the LiSTNR family to host a breakfast show live on RnB FRIDAYS Radio! We love the fun, feel and passion for music that this music genre presents,” the duo said.

“We can’t wait to wake up every day with our listeners and bring back the show they love, with the music they can’t hear anywhere else, all day every day.

“It’s a big task to launch a national breakfast show on LiSTNR, but we’re excited to be part of this new era in the future of broadcasting. We know our existing loyal listeners will love it, and we can’t wait to reach even more listeners around Australia.”

SCA Chief Content Officer, Dave Cameron, said: “LiSTNR is continuing to drive the digital audio pace in Australia as not only the country’s biggest audio content creator of on-demand and broadcast content, but innovative live exclusive programming across sport, news and entertainment.

“To continue to lead this innovation, we’re hugely excited to launch the Mike E & Emma live national breakfast show exclusive to our new RNB Fridays Radio channel.

“Mike E & Emma have a large national following from their many years broadcasting together, and we know their passionate and loyal listeners, particularly in the Sydney market, have been demanding their return.

“It’s the perfect established show matched with the perfect established music brand to continue to drive new audiences to LiSTNR.”

The breakfast show will broadcast live on weekdays 1-10am on RnB FRIDAYS Radio on the LiSTNR app and will also be available where DAB+ is accessible across Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth.
