Denver in Colorado isn’t all stunning snow-capped vistas and imposing Rocky Mountains, with the city also boasting a rather thriving art scene.

Newest on the block is an immersive exhibit called Convergence Station by art collective Meow Wolf, and if this promo video is any indication, it’s a whacky place indeed.

To get more visitors in, Meow Wolf enlisted fabled creative agency Wieden + Kennedy Portland (who boast Nike, KFC and Old Spice among its client base) to come up with a campaign that, it must be said, is one of the stranger ads B&T‘s seen in some time.

Called “Get Out and See the Worlds”, the spot uses old travel footage interspersed with some truly bizarre CGI.

It was directed by Swede Andreas Nilsson, who’s better known for making music videos for the likes of MGMT, Goldfrapp, José González, White Lies, Peter, Björn & John, Moby and Bright Eyes.

Furthermore, the accompanying song was composed and sung by Bret McKenzie of Flight of the Conchords fame.

The ad makes no sense whatsoever, but it is glorious, shameless anarchy all the same. Enjoy (but don’t say you’ve not been warned)…
