Pinterest Introduces New Ways For Creators To Earn

Image sharing and social platform, Pinterest has announced it is launching new ways for creators to build their business and earn money. 

Now creators will be able to make their pins shoppable and earn commissions through affiliate links, and partner with brands on sponsored content. 

Pinterest is also introducing a new paid partnerships tool, allowing creators to disclose their paid partnerships

Creators who make branded content can now add brands directly in their Idea Pins, and once the brand approves the tag — the Idea Pin will include a “Paid Partnership” label.

Pinterest is also launching, Idea Pins product tagging tool to all business accounts in the U.S. and the UK and will continue rolling out access over the coming months to international creators.

Product tagging is a new tool that enables creators to tag their Idea Pins with any of the millions of Product Pins on Pinterest.

These latest updates aim to help creators make their content more actionable and shoppable and more easily be able to partner with brands.

The paid partnerships tool is now live for select Creators in the US, Australia, the UK, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, Spain, France, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Sweden, Brazil, Argentina, Mexico, Chile, Colombia and Peru.
