We’re Back, Baby: Entries Now Open For The 2021 B&T Awards!

B&T’s annual awards extravaganza is returning in 2021, so it’s time for you and your crew to get sorted and give yourselves the best chance possible of winning a shiny prize and bragging rights!

The B&T Awards are Australia’s biggest, longest-running and most entertaining awards for the advertising, marketing, and media industries. This year, we’ve partnered with YouTube to help celebrate the exceptional work you’ve created during these crazy times.

Judged by more than 100 of Australia’s most experienced marketers, 39 categories cover the full gamut of the communications discipline. And, of course, the highly coveted Grand Prix Award highlights one agency making the biggest impact on how this game is played.

We’ve got five new categories to enter this year: Best YouTube Campaign, Best Digital Transformation, Best Media Platform, the B&T Award for Diversity – Champion, the B&T Award for Diversity – Individual, and the B&T Award for Diversity – The Work.

More info on the categories and criteria for each can be found HERE.

This year, we’re helping you out with How to Win a B&T Award – a new video series where a host of judges and previous winners share their tips and tricks on entering.

There’s already a video live on how to win B&T’s newest award, ‘Best YouTube Campaign’, with Mark Wheeler, head of YouTube marketing in Australia and New Zealand at Google.

Also, a reminder that this year the theme is ‘back to basics’. What does this mean, you ask? Well, our judges will be looking for entries with genuine effect and merit – think ads that successfully managed to convert sales and boost the bottom line.

Get cracking on your entries now HERE!

Now, you’re probably all wondering when and where the big night will be held, right?

This year’s B&T Awards will take place on Friday 12 November at the Hordern Pavilion in Sydney. You can secure your spot now and take advantage of the early bird ticket price HERE, and then get your glad rags ready to celebrate a year of bloody hard work!

B&T can’t wait to welcome guests to the Hordern Pavilion for a COVID-safe event! Adhering to the current NSW Public Health Order, all guests are to provide proof of full COVID-19 vaccination or NSW Health-approved vaccination exemption upon entry to the venue.

Now, we realise this is all a lot to take in, so here are the key dates to jot down in your diary:

Entries close: Monday 19 July 2021 at 5pm AEST (on-time fee is $399 plus GST per entry)

Late entries close: Monday 26 July 2021 at 5pm AEST (late fee is $499 plus GST per entry)
