Wednesday TV Wrap: MAFS’ Wednesday Dinner Party Big On Ratings, And On Drama

More evidence of Bryce’s secret life emerged on MAFS last night as 1, 100, 000 tuned in to this week’s dinner party.

The contestants who had previously left the show came back for ‘Girl’s Nights’ and ‘Boy’s Nights’, where returning bride Samantha revealed even more evidence that Melissa’s husband Bryce has a secret girlfriend on the outside. For those who don’t watch MAFS, that sentence may mean nothing but rest assured, it was sufficiently dramatic.

Coming in second was Nine News, beating Seven News with 971,000 viewers to 933,000 viewers as per OzTAM’s metro data.

Next was A Current Affair with 771,000 viewers while, once again, the middle chunk of the Wednesday night ratings were largely taken out by the ABC.

ABC News had 679,000 viewers, followed by Hard Quiz with 653,000 and Kitty Flanagan sitcom Fisk at 651,000.

Their streak was broken by Seven interloper Home And Away with 560,000.

Then, it was back to the ABC with 7.30 at 556,000 viewers and The Weekly With Charlie Pickering at 543,000.

The rest of Seven’s night had The Chase at 456,000 viewers while Highway Patrol Special had 346,000. AFL talk show The Front Bar scored 305,000 viewers.

Over at 10, The Project came top with 438,000 viewers, followed by 10 News First with 369,000. The Cube saw a slight drop off of 8,000 to 299,000 viewers overall.

Finally, the rest of Nine’s night had Hot Seat with 445,000, though Amazing Grace had a drop of 30,000 viewers, ultimately scoring 298,000.

Nine (all channels) won the night with 35 per cent of the daily share, followed by Seven (all channels) with 23 per cent. Like Tuesday night, the ABC Network was bronze with 18 per cent while Network 10 had 16 per cent.

The SBS Network had seven per cent of the daily share.
