“Bullsh*t!”: Sandilands Mocks Woman’s Day Over Claims Of A ‘Kyle & Jackie O’ Split

KIIS FM host Kyle Sandilands took to radio recently to slam a “fabricated” article from one of Australia’s best-known gossips.

Woman’s Day claimed that it had received information from “a top TV insider” that Sandilands and Jackie ‘O’ Henderson were preparing to head their separate ways as “small-screen projects cause a divide between them”.

“For 15 years, radio hosts-turned-TV stars Kyle Sandilands and Jackie O Henderson have dominated the airwaves with their successful and headline-making Kyle & Jackie O Show,” the Woman’s Day team writes.

“But it seems cracks are starting to appear between the once unshakeable duo, with on-air tantrums and simmering tension sparking rumours of an imminent rift.”

The Are Media-owned magazine claimed Sandilands’ on-air outbursts could have been to blame, and that he had “gone too far” and forced staff to quit after he called them “useless”.

There were even rumours of “bombshell drug claims”.

Sandilands, however, put the rumours to bed on Wednesday after his own mother called KIIS 1065 to see if there were any truths in the Woman’s Day article—there weren’t.

“It just says that you and Jackie are over, because you’re jealous of her success on The Masked Singer, and little cracks are forming,” his mum, Pam, said in the phone call.

Sandilands responded, laughing: “Mum … that is 100 per cent false. Absolutely bullsh*t. Woman’s Day, I should have known.”

The passage in question, from within the Woman’s Day article, reads: “It has to be a sore spot for Kyle… Jackie becoming a TV darling while his show bombed! … Jackie’s venture on to The Masked Singer has her in hot demand.

“One day their radio show will come to an end and where does that leave Kyle?”

After hearing the article read on air by a KIIS FM producer, Sandilands replied, mockingly: “What am I going to do if the radio ends?

“Jackie, are you going to leave me high and dry? If Woman’s Day said it, it’s true.”

“As if, Kyle. It’s definitely not happening, I’ll tell you that,” Henderson replied, adding: “We love each other, we love doing the show, and we have so much fun.”

Sandilands replied: “[My mother] needed all the information to go back to the hairdressers and tell all the other old ladies.

“We’re very big in the 60-plus market in Queensland.”
