“Doesn’t Taste Like Chicken!” McDonald’s Unveils Massive McNugget Snuggle Pillow!

Typically, when you think McDonald’s restaurant items you don’t think of a restful night’s sleep as it’s usually eaten at 1am after a boozy night out.

However, a thrilling new marketing idea could be about to change all that.

The fast food giant has just released a brand new, three-foot long snuggle pillow in the shape of one of its famed chicken nuggets.

That’s right, snuggle-up to your very own very-realistic, deep-fried poultry piece for a mere $US90 ($A124) including delivery.

Apparently, the new pillow is all part of a deal Macca’s has with rapper Travis Scott (pictured below) and his online merchandise business Cactus Jack.

Want one? Well, there’s a 12-week wait and such has been the demand they’re already sold out. Although Macca’s management insists it will have more in stock soon.

Resellers have already listed the McNugget body pillow at $US399 and $US450 on online marketplaces like eBay and StockX.

According to reports out of the US, Cactus Jack is also stocking an array of McDonald’s-inspired T-shirts and hoodies, Egg McMuffin-branded boxers, a burger tie and $US250 denim shorts.

Further to that, McDonald’s launched a Travis Scott Meal on Monday. The $US6 menu combo includes a Quarter Pounder with cheese, bacon, and lettuce, fries with BBQ sauce, and a medium Sprite and will be available through to October 4.

Apparently, McDonald’s sees its collaboration with the 28-year-old Scott as a way of reconnecting with younger customers.

McDonald’s US chief marketing officer Morgan Flatley telling Business Insider: “[Scott’s] ability to kind of see where culture is going and have a hand in where culture is going is really unique.

“Then you couple that with his huge followership and his fans, social-media footprint, and … 3 billion streams. He just has an incredible audience.”

So far it seems the social media reaction to the McNugget pillow has all been positive. Check out some of it below:
