Thursday TV Wrap: ScoMo’s ACA Grilling On Australia’s Job Future Draws A Crowd For Nine

Tracy Grimshaw grilling Australian PM Scott Morrison on A Current Affair proved a winning ticket for Nine, with 615,000 metro viewers tuning in, according to OzTAM data.

However, it wasn’t enough for Nine to win the night. Seven stole the show in primary audience share off the back of the AFL (524,000), with 22.7 per cent, while Nine did 17.5 per cent, 10 did 11.0 per cent and ABC did 9.2 per cent. SBS did 5.7 per cent.

Nine’s NRL did okay with 325,000 viewers, while 10’s best entertainment for the night was Bachelor in Paradise with 501,000. ABC’s Sammy J did 332,000.

Here’s how the rest of the night ran:

Seven

News did 1.12m, The Chase did 661,000, Home and Away did 586,000 and Sunrise did 281,000.

Nine

News did 1.06m and Hot Seat did 543,000.

The Project did 529,000, 10 News First did 424,000.

ABC

News did 768,000 and 7.30 did 540,000.

All channel share 

Seven pulled 33.5 per cent, Nine followed with 24.9 per cent, 10 did 18.0 per cent, while ABC and SBS did 14.6 per cent and 9.0 per cent respectively.
