Heading To A Brave New Digital World? Take Your Valentine With You!

Valentine’s Day doesn’t just mean overpriced roses and awkward restaurant dinner dates, it also comes with some surprising superstitions, too.

According to folklore (well, a loose Google search), come February the 14th if a woman sees a squirrel, she’s destined to marry a cheapskate. Slice open an apple on the day and the number of seeds inside will apparently predict the number of children you’re going to have. Sure, red roses mean love, but get a yellow bunch and that means the giver is the devious, jealous type.

Another superstition you may not be aware of is from The Association For Data Driven Marketing & Advertising (ADMA). Ok, not so much a superstition, but for lovers (of marketing) all the same.

ADMA host the marketing industry’s pre-eminent conference annually in the guise of its Global Forum. And it’s back again for 2020, this time at ICC Sydney over two days from the 31st of March.

And, if you’re a lover of data, a lover of advertising, a lover of the latest marketing trends or just want to give your fuddled brain some love, ADMA’s offering a cracking deal of two-for-one tickets to this year’s Global Forum. But you need to be quick! This astonishing ticket offer ends this Valentine’s Day when the clock ticks over to midnight. Click here for full details.

Once again, Global Forum attendees will be treated to a stellar line-up of local and international experts that ADMA’s describing as “be inspired by the bravest in the world”, all with the intention of taking you out of your digital marketing comfort zone.

How’s Australian Of The Year and Thai cave rescue diver, Dr Craig Challen, for starters? Learn all things tech and behavioural from futurist Danielle Di-Masi. Feel slightly inadequate as you learn from corporate philosopher and knowledge designer, Dr Richard Hames, who Forbes Magazine just bestowed the title of “one of the smartest people on the planet”.

Guzman y Gomez CMO Lara Thom’s on the list, alongside Greenpeace CEO David Ritter, while boss of the acclaimed Marketing Academy, Sherilyn Stricker, will be jetting in from the States. But don’t take our word for it, check out the full authoritative speaker list here.

Delegates will get first-hand insights and practical advice from some of the world’s most reputable brands on how they tackle the challenges of the digital revolution and thrive in the age of the customer. Think leadership, CX transformation, CX optimisation, creativity and innovation, plus all the latest marketing technology.

But don’t take our word for it. Help spread the marketing love and book your two-for-one tickets now! And remember – offer closes midnight on the 14th and you’ll be heart-broken if you miss out.
