MediaMath Hires New ANZ Country Manager

Independent programmatic marketing company MediaMath has reiterated its commitment to the Australia and New Zealand region with the appointment of Yun Yip as its new country manager.

Yip brings more than 13 years’ experience in the marketing, digital, and adtech industry, having most recently been the co-managing director at 1st Screen.

Prior to that, Yip held a senior sales role at Telstra Advertising Network, and began her media planning career at Carat in 2003 before joining Starcom in 2005.

Rahul Vasudev, MediaMath’s managing director for the Asia-Pacific region, said Yip joins the company with an impressive history of working with different teams to maximize business outcomes.

“We are thrilled to bring her wealth of marketing, digital, and adtech experience to MediaMath as we continue our journey in this complex and dynamic industry,” he said.

“Yun comes on board at a critical time as we continue to shape the industry and look to ANZ as a strategic hub for programmatic innovation.”

Yip said she is passionate about connecting the right brand message with the right audience at the right time.

“More than ever before, consumers want to be understood and marketers have the power to make it happen,” she said.

““I am excited to join MediaMath for this very reason. MediaMath has the proprietary technology, platform, data, and expertise that enables brands to converse with their audiences in a more meaningful and effective way.”
