With Christmas fast approaching, Toys“R”Us has already started welcoming in the festivities a new advertising campaign.

The campaign, which is launching this week, highlights this year’s challenges faced by Aussie families and people all over the world, celebrates the resilience of the human spirit and the magic of love and connection.

Toys“R”Us Australia CEO Louis Mittoni said the video, devised by the Toys“R”Us team, is inspired by the heart-warming message that love and connection is all around us and that together we can amplify this most magical part of humanity to make Christmas 2020 more memorable than ever.

“We are custodians of tradition, and Christmas is that wondrous part of the year that captures the joyous tradition of gift-giving.  The gift of giving promotes feelings of gratitude and connection and Toys“R”Us hopes to be a part of facilitating the creation of lifetime memories in all children, young and young at heart, this Christmas,” Mittoni said.

“We look forward to providing families and gift-givers the widest range of toys this Christmas that will create memories to last a lifetime.”

The Toys“R”Us Christmas video campaign also follows last week’s announcement of ASX listed company (ASX:FUN) Funtastic’s proposed acquisition of the Hobby Warehouse Group, home to Hobby Warehouse, Toys“R”Us and Babies“R”Us.  The proposal is set to go before shareholders 23 November.
