Star Wars Fans Outraged By Absolutely Bonkers Trump Star Wars Ad

US President Donald Trump’s re-election campaign team has shared an absolutely bonkers video of the president superimposed into a fight scene out of Star Wars.

The Team Trump account, which is officially affiliated with the president shared the clip on 4 May, also known as ‘Star Wars Day’ because it sounds like the famous catchphrase “may the force be with you”.

In the ad, Joe Biden’s face is superimposed onto the evil character of Emperor Palpatine who orders a Stormtrooper (with a CNN logo placed on its forehead) to kill Yoda, who is played by Trump in the video.

It’s really just as nuts as it sounds. And it gets better.

The CNN Stormtrooper joins another Stormtooper (with MSNBC logo on its head) but before they can strike the Tump/Yoda hybrid, Trump/Yoda takes off both their heads with a lightsabre.

The Tweet has already been viewed 227,000 times in two days.

However, Star Wars fans and onlookers alike are not happy, with some calling on Disney – owner of the Star Wars franchise – to see if it violates copyright laws.

You can watch the weirdness below.
