BBC Studios Appoints We Are Social
We Are Social, the global socially-led creative agency network, has been appointed by BBC Studios as its social agency for Australia and New Zealand.
We Are Social will be developing social campaigns and content for their flagship channels including BBC First, UK TV and BBC Knowledge, as well as managing BBC’s social channels.
We Are Social managing director Suzie Shaw said: “The calibre of BBC Studios programming is outstanding and it’s a privilege to be working with them.
“We are very pleased to be collaborating with the talented team at We are Social.”
BBC Studios ANZ director of brands & marketing, Australia & New Zealand Linda Deubel said: “We know that Britishness is a driving factor for 1 in 3 Australians when considering which content they ‘must see’.
“We Are Social’s strategic, editorial and creative expertise will help bring our bold, British content to new audiences, as well as enhance existing fandom across all our social channels.”
The appointment is effective immediately.
The first campaign will be for forthcoming John le Carré spy thriller, The Little Drummer Girl on BBC First.
