Xero Australia Appoints Vladka Kazda As Marketing Director
Vladka Kazda (featured image) joins the Xero Australia team as Marketing Director on 13 May.
Kazda is responsible for Xero’s brand and go-to-market strategy in Australia, including leading the marketing function’s operations, channel mix, analytics, automation and customer loyalty programs.
A key position on Xero Australia’s senior leadership team, Kazda will work closely with Trent Innes, Xero Australia’s managing director, to reach, engage and grow Xero’s market share of small business customers and accountant and bookkeeper partners.
The role was previously held by Penny Elmslie, who was recently promoted to a newly created role within Xero’s global team as director of brand and community.
A digital native, Kazda brings to the Xero team more than 17 years of customer-focused, marketing experience.
Kazda is well regarded in the industry, having spent more than 15 years at carsales.com Ltd, playing a key role in building and maintaining its number one brand and market position in one of the most dynamic and hard-fought segments online today.
Kazda’s experience spans building and commercialising online audiences, and developing teams that thrive on delivering powerful outcomes through the creative use of data.
Kazda commented: “I’m thrilled to have joined the Xero Australia team at what is such an exciting time for the company.
“I’ve admired Xero as a business and as a brand for some time now and it’s a privilege to be joining during a period of such rapid growth, both here and in overseas markets.
“Via family, I’ve seen first-hand the impact Xero’s platform can have on the country’s small businesses, and accountant and bookkeeper community.
“Xero’s tools translate to less time spent on compliance and more time spent on the things that matter to you – whether that’s growing the business or time with family and friends.
“A lot of companies speak about the concept of ‘customer-first’, and it’s always refreshing to see this in action.”
Xero Australia & Asia managing director, Trent Innes said: “We are delighted to welcome Vladka to Xero.
“She is an authentic leader and a commercially-savvy strategic marketer with an impressive track record in helping businesses scale.
“Vladka adds another dimension to our senior leadership team in Australia and will play a pivotal role in helping us reach, engage and grow our market share of small business customers and accountant and bookkeeper partners in the region.”
