LG Electronics (LG) has unveiled a new partnership with Australia’s renowned fitness and health coach Michelle Bridge’s 12 Week Body Transformation (12WBT), to make healthy living more convenient as we approach the busiest time of the year.

Created through a shared commitment towards helping Australians live happier and more balanced lifestyles, LG has joined forces with 12WBT to share a message of how healthy habits start in the kitchen, with small, sustainable changes in routine made more convenient with the help of clever appliances.

For many Australians, the end of the year is the busiest time of the year – and as we juggle work, social, and personal commitments, it can feel harder to find the time and motivation to eat well and stay active.

To help Australians combat end-of-year burnout, LG and 12WBT have partnered to create a series of freely accessible online resources, including nutritious mid-week recipes, how-to guides and tips, encouraging them to rediscover the good in prioritising their well-being at this particularly busy time.

Michelle Bridges, Founder of 12WBT, commented: “The 12WBT program is all about supporting everyday Aussies on their journey to becoming the best version of themselves.

“Now this can look different for everyone, so it’s important for each person to set their own pace and commit to goals that are realistic and achievable.

“For so many 12WBTers, meal prepping is an easy way to get nutritious meals ready for the whole family, even when they’re short on time.

“Through this partnership with LG, we want to show Australians that small changes in routine can help build healthy habits in the long run. With the right tools and support, you can stay committed to your health and fitness goals, all year round.”

The collaborative content series also showcases how innovative kitchen appliances by LG can save Australian families time and effort when it comes to instilling healthy habits such as meal planning and meal prep into their routine, making it easier to stay on track no matter how busy life gets. Namely, the latest 635L Side by Side refrigerator1 by LG sports a line-up of features that work together to maintain food freshness, ideal for those planning and preparing nutritious meals for the whole family ahead of time.

For instance, with two quick knocks, the LG InstaView™ panel illuminates, allowing users to see inside and access items via the Door-in-Door® compartment without needing to open the main fridge cavity, reducing cool air loss, helping to prolong the life of produce and ingredients.

Meanwhile, the Surround Cooling™ feature circulates cool air from multiple directions, which aims to reduce temperature fluctuations and help keep food fresher for longer, catering to larger grocery shops that factor in the week ahead.

Meanwhile, LG’s largest capacity microwave, the LG NeoChef 56L Smart Inverter Microwave Oven2 takes mid-week convenience to a new level with its precise power and temperature control and large capacity.

As an evolution of the traditional microwave, the NeoChef is capable of far more than merely reheating and defrosting, becoming a versatile tool for Australians to create a range of homecooked meals big enough for the whole family using the Sensor Cook menu.3

Shannon Tweedie, marketing manager for home appliances at LG Australia, commented: “LG is excited to be partnering with 12WBT as part of our ongoing commitment towards helping Australians rediscover the good in their every day by bringing versatility and convenience into the home.

“As we approach the busiest time of the year, making time for healthy habits like ‘meal prep’ can feel near impossible. However, with the help of innovative home appliances designed to support our increasingly busy lifestyles, prioritising our wellbeing can become an easier part of our daily routine.”
