KIIS Network To Support R U OK? Day With 10 Seconds Of Silence Every Hour

Tomorrow to support R U OK? Day and their efforts to start life-changing conversations, the KIIS Network once again will be encouraging listeners to reflect on their own mental health and reach out to their loved ones.

Each station will pause for 10 seconds of silence every hour to serve as a reminder to ask friends, family and colleagues how they are really doing in the hopes to ignite deep and meaningful dialogue.

The campaign is being led by on-air talent in each market, a number of whom have been very open about their mental health struggles in recent months – from Ali Clarke sharing her anxiety in a previous role and Will McMahon being fearlessly outspoken regarding his battle with depression.

The KIIS Network’s support of R U OK? Day can be heard on stations throughout Thursday 8 September or via the free iHeart app.
