Google has thrown out the idea that most of us use the search engine primarily as a spell checker in an inspiring piece of work that celebrates people wanting to change and better themselves.
Called “Year in search 2022”, the two-minute long ad is the work of the tech giant’s in-house creative team, Google Brand Studio.
The ad’s big on “change” and sees people wanting to change hairstyles, their fitness, careers, even countries.
One woman declares: “I just quite my job, flew to Scotland with no money and no plans or effect!”
The ad’s interspersed with events from 2022, with even the Queen seemingly talking beyond the grave.
