Chris Ernst, managing director of dentsu QLD announced today a raft of promotions and appointments within the agency team, together with a move into the new dentsu Brisbane office.

The move into new premises has marked the next chapter for dentsu QLD with the coming together of Carat, iProspect, Haystac dentsu, Merkle and BWM Isobar, steering a significant and unified offering in the market.

“It’s an incredibly exciting time for our agency in Qld. We’ve worked hard over the past year to integrate and simplify our go to market and our employee proposition. We have unrivalled capabilities across the full customer value chain under one roof now at dentsu. Together we are simpler, smarter, and faster than we have ever been, and our new office gives us the perfect environment to continue bringing that to life,” Ernst said.

Along with the office move, Ernst has announced a number of senior promotions and appointments following the recent arrival of Emily Cook and Chris Harper in head of client partnership positions for Carat and iProspect respectively.

“We are focused on driving growth not only for our clients, but also the growth of our people internally.  These internal promotions and appointments are supported by others throughout the business, all geared towards recognising the incredible talent we have and the value they generate for our business and partners,” Ernst added.

The following leadership team has been established:

Emily Cook as head of client leadership Carat Qld, leading media capability in market.

Chris Harper as head of client leadership iProspect Qld, leading the performance digital capability in market.

Aidan Ryan has been promoted to group investment director Carat Qld, leading Queensland’s media investment working in collaboration with Craig Cooper, Carat’s national chief investment officer.

Meghan Henricks has been promoted to the role of business director Haystac dentsu, and leads the PR ad Social Relations Agency in Brisbane.

New staff appointments and promotions include:

Cameron Law has been promoted to group strategy director Carat Qld, leading the Queensland market in media strategy.

Owen Martin has been promoted to group digital director Carat Qld leading the QLD market on digital transformation and the digital product for Carat.

Tom Lock has been promoted to senior account cirector Haystac dentsu working closely with brands including Dairy Australia, Sanofi, Sigma and Jaguar Land Rover.

Micah Howard joins from Metcash in Sydney in the position of client partner for iProspect, leading clients including MyPayNow and Unilodge.

Shailly S has joined the business as senior project manager, Merkle, having spent recent years working at both Deloitte and Telstra.  Shailly’s appointment powers up the Salesforce Enablement capability on the ground in Qld.
