Everyone following B&T’s ‘Table of Bravery’ knows that M&C Saatchi is currently in the lead of Australia’s most courageous creatives when it comes to stripping off for the Sydney Skinny – and here is the proof that we also walk the talk…
The magazine’s associate editor Niki Waldegrave got naked and wetter than at otter’s pocket with Tim Dormer, who is the ambassador for the event sponsors, Nudie, today to explain what is involved in the third annual swim, taking place at Cobblers Beach, Mosman, on March 1.
The event is all about being courageous, stepping outside of your comfort zone and celebrating all that is beautiful about life. The event is a 900m or a 300m untimed nude ocean swim and all proceeds raised go towards the Foundation for National Parks and Wildlife.
As the major sponsor, nudie are recruiting 100 swimmers to be a part of ‘team nudie’ via an online APP and as part of the team participants will receive a free ticket to the event, a nudie goodie bag plus entry into the nudie wave led by team captain Tim Dormer.
“I love that the event is not about nudity. It’s about feeling comfortable in your own skin in a community of acceptance… and that’s exactly what I am all about. I am ready to do something fun and courageous to kick off 2015!” says Tim Dormer.
