Brendan Muller (main image) has been appointed as the first ever General Manager of New Zealand for UnLtd, the social purpose organisation for the media, marketing and creative industry.

Muller has previously held senior roles as Sales Director NZ for Quantcast and Country Manager NZ for Vevo and Exponential.

Chris Freel, CEO of UnLtd said, “We are delighted to have someone of Brendan’s calibre join the team to launch our New Zealand operation. Brendan has plenty of experience of launching businesses in Aotearoa and he brings a wealth of local knowledge, connections and a passion for making a difference for young people at risk.”

UnLtd has also announced three New Zealand charities as their launch partners – Voices of Hope, The Kindness Collective and Springboard. All UnLtd’s charity partners are carefully selected and vetted to find grassroots organisations running effective programs, positively impacting young people at risk, and creating long-lasting, generational change.

Muller commented, “I’m so excited to be joining UnLtd and bringing the New Zealand advertising industry together to make a massive difference for young people at risk through these incredible charity partners.

“Us Kiwis are a generous bunch, the second most generous nation in the world, but we also have the highest per capita number of charities in the world, so it can be hard to know how and who to help. That’s where UnLtd comes in – we make it easier to make a difference and give our industry the power to help by using their skills, networks, and resources for good.”

A key part of Muller’s role is to drive partnerships that generate mutual value for corporate partners across the industry and charity partners.

Freel said: “We have been overwhelmed by the positive sentiment and support from the NZ industry community. There is so much talent and passion for making a difference in New Zealand, and we can’t wait to channel that to create real, positive changes for some of the most vulnerable young people in the country.”
