Melbourne stations go digital with JCDecaux’s The Clock and The Wall

JCDecaux has digitised two new assets in Melbourne’s CBD, The Clock and The Wall, to bring a new layer of outdoor advertising to the capital city.

The 130 year-old Water Tower Clock has undergone restoration with a new home and the introduction of two digital screens, set to become the digital focal point of Southern Cross Station.

As The Clock’s digital displays are set at a right angle, they are able to capture the attention of both morning and evening commuters.

The Wall (coming soon) is set to be within Flinders Street Station, with the 20 metre squared screen positioned in the centre of the station’s concourse.

“Melbourne stations are prime environments for high impact digital advertising,” Steve O’Connor, CEO of JCDecaux, said. “The Clock and The Wall are key to the significant roll-out of our digital transit offering – leading the way in providing powerful creative canvases for advertisers, while also delivering huge reach among valuable connected commuter audiences.”

The Clock and The Wall are available to advertisers from today.
