SBS finds place in top 20

The repeat episode of SBS’s The Vikings has managed to nab 20th place in the top twenty shows most watched yesterday.

The documentary that saw Neil Oliver on the hunt for the truth about the Vikings pulled in 314,000 viewers in its 7.30pm timeslot on SBS One, according to OzTam preliminary ratings.

So You Think You Can Dance on Ten also found its way into the top most twenty watched shows.

Pulling in 331,000 viewers, the results episode of the reality dance competition came in at number 17 in its two hour broadcast on Sunday night, from 7.30pm to 9.30pm.

Reality shows were once again all the rage last night as Nine's The Block took out the top spot (1.568 million viewers), with Seven's My Kitchen Rules coming in a close second (1.550 million).

Even though Seven only grabbed five shows in the top twenty and Nine nabbed seven, it was victory for Seven when looking at the total combined share.

Seven saw a total share of 36.5%, with 28.9% going to its primary channel.

Nine had a 32.6% share from yesterday, 25.9% going to its main station.

ABC beat out Ten for third spot, seizing 13.6%, 9.4% of that going to ABC1.

Ten grasped a share of 11% with 6.7% going to its main channel.

SBS came fifth, even though it had a show in the top twenty, with 6.2%, 5.4% going to SBS One.
