Wonderland plummets

Just over 400,000 people tuned into Ten’s Wonderland last night, the smallest result the new drama has recorded since launch.

At 8.30 pm the program pulled in just 414,000 viewers, losing out to Seven's Winners & Losers (1.017 million), Nine’s Arrow (621,000) and the ABC’s Gruen Planet (908,000), according to OzTam’s preliminary metro ratings.

Last week Wonderland had 637,000 viewers, with 607,000 tuning into the program on Wednesday September 11 and 688,000 watched it the week before. 

The Bachelor has also dropped, recording a slight ratings fall to 612,000 down from the 656,000 viewers it won during its first Wednesday night outing. Ten recently moved The Bachelor from Sunday to Wednesday night.

 The Bachelor came ninth in 25-54s and Wonderland rated 16th.

Ten took a combined 16.4% share of all free-to-air viewers with 10.8% to its main channel.

The result puts Ten behind the ABC which won a total 19.1%, 13.9% went to the ABC1.

The ABC had a strong night with two top ten programs and five in the top 20.

7.30 took 12th place with 734,000 viewers Julia Zemiro’s Home Delivery wont 613,000 viewers in 16th place at around 9pm.

Seven won the night again, taking a combined 31.4% share of all FTA viewers. Seven’s main channel won 22.8%.

SlideShow at 7.30pm pulled in 814,000 viewers, just behind Nine’s Big Brother which kicked off at 7pm to win over 818,000 viewers.

A Seven special The Man with the Biggest Testicles came 11th with an auidnece of 805,000 to beat the second episode of Nine’s Arrow (586,000).

Nine took a combined 27.7% share of all FTA viewers with 19.3% of that going to its primary channel.
