NRL rates 10th, My Kitchen Rules dominates again

While fans from around New South Wales flocked to Sydney Football Stadium for a sell-out Rabbitohs vs Roosters game last night, Nine’s live broadcast of the game still pulled 851,000 viewers.

The result placed it 10th on the ratings ladder, just below ABC News.

First place went, unsurprisingly, to Seven’s My Kitchen Rules with 1.74 million viewers, followed by Nine’s The Block on 1.23 million.

Seven News and Nine News followed, each scoring over 1.1 million, while Nine’s The Footy Show sat fifth with an audience of 970,000, no doubt on account of the big game.

Seven’s Home and Away sat strong in sixth place with 946,000, followed by Seven’s Today Tonight and Nine’s A Current Affair.

Ten News at Five sat 13th as the network’s highest rating show of the evening. It scored 654,000 viewers.

Nine scored the largest share of audience taking the title from Seven, with 34.5%. Seven scored 31.9%. Ten won 12.6% which was less than the ABC’s 16.2%.
