Peters Ice Cream melts Publicis Mojo relationship

Peters Ice Cream has moved its advertising creative account from Publicis Mojo to Leo Burnett Melbourne following Nestle’s decision to sell the business.

Peters was acquired by Australian private equity group Pacific Equity Partners in August last year.

Leo Burnett will start work on the Peter’s portfolio – which includes the Connoisseur, Maxibon and Drumstick brands among others – immediately.

Emma Jane Collins, marketing director at Peters, said: “We are delighted to announce our partnership with Leo Burnett. It’s an exciting new chapter for our business, and we see the agency as a key partner to our continued success. Burnett is a great fit for Peters, and we’re really looking forward to their contribution in helping us build our brands.”

Melinda Geertz, chief executive of Leo Burnett Melbourne, added: “Peters is one of the true iconically Australian brands, and it’s an honour to have this opportunity to partner with them. They are ambitious and energized about their future, and we can’t wait to create some great work together.”
