marie claire, together with Kérastase, has announced the anticipated Women of the Year Awards, a night celebrating game-changing women who are challenging norms and building a brighter future.

Nicky Briger, the editor of marie claire, said: “It’s a privilege to recognise the passion, bravery and creativity of this inspirational group of women.

The winners are!

  1. Powerhouse of the Year: Linda Burney
  2. Entertainer of the Year: Amy Shark
  3. Champion of the Year: Ash Barty
  4. The Eco Warrior:
  5. Designer of the Year: Andie Halas
  6. Changemaker of the year: Chanel Contos (equal winners)
    The Teals (Independents: Dr Monique Ryan, Allegra Spender, Zoe Daniel, Kate Chaney, Dr Sophie Scamps, Kylea Tink and Zali Steggall)
  7. Creative of the Year: Leah Purcell
  8. Voice of Now: Hannah Diviney and Teela Reid
  9. Advocate of the Year: Shanna Whan
  10. Rising Star: Chloe Hayden

All winners were selected from a powerhouse panel of judges, including Rose Byrne, Christine Holgate, Kylie Kwong, Melissa Doyle, Tayna Plibersek, Nakkiah Lui, Madison de Rozario, Chantelle Otten and Nicky Briger.

The awards ceremony was held last evening at a red carpet event at Rockpool, Sydney, attended by more than 150 winners, nominees, identities and media.
