Lucid Agency Wins Philippines Tourism Account To Drive Awareness In AUNZ

Following a competitive pitch, The Lucid Agency has been engaged by Philippines Department of Tourism (PDOT) to lead its marketing communications and media relations, helping drive awareness of the Philippines as a travel destination in the Australian and New Zealand markets.

Lucid director and co-founder, Dan Jacobs, said on the news: “With over 7,000 islands in its archipelago, the Philippines offers some of the world’s most authentic and highest-quality tourism experiences, from diving in clear blue lagoons and cruising meandering rivers through tropical forests, to luxury island stays and soaking up the country’s rich culture in its buzzing cities.

“Now that travel is firmly back on the agenda for Aussies and Kiwis, we’re so excited to be working with the team at the Philippines Department of Tourism to showcase all the fun, thrills and adventure that’s waiting for them in the Philippines.”

Philippines Department of Tourism’s officer-in-charge, Eleanor Palima, added: “We’re thrilled to be welcoming Australian and New Zealand travellers back to our shores once again, and we’re really looking forward to working with The Lucid Agency to spread the word about the diverse travel experiences on offer in the Philippines. With many travellers likely to be planning their next adventure, now is a great time to re-engage with the market and get the inspiration flowing.”

The Philippines Department of Tourism has also launched an out-of-home campaign in Sydney, aiming to reawaken Sydneysiders’ interest in the Philippines. The campaign features the country’s iconic Chocolate Hills of Bohol.
