Poms Encouraged To Come “Work In Australia” Via New Campaign

What started as a conversation over a beer between two mates in a pub last September, has evolved into a major start-up helping to solve Australia’s labour shortages.

Work In Australia Agency is the brainchild of serial entrepreneurs Matt Paff and Mark Wood, both from Sydney. The business encourages people from around the world, to come to Australia on a working holiday, connecting them direct to Australian employers in desperate need of staff.

This week the company has launched in the UK, with a cheeky campaign trying to entice the British to come work and play down-under. As part of the launch, the company has hired a mobile billboard that will be doing the rounds of London this Thursday and Friday (August 11 and 12 across the day, London time), poking fun at the departing Prime Minister Boris Johnson.

The truck displaying the billboards will be doing the rounds of the major landmarks of London with route schedules available to allow for film and photography crews to capture.
