Whether you’re a full time Fortnite streamer or play Angry Birds on the loo, the National Breast Caner Foundation (NBCF) is calling on Aussies to set goals and raise funds for breast cancer research.

Launching on May the 4th – hilarious – and running throughout the month, Game Day is an opportunity for Australians to team up with NBCF and help in the ongoing fight to eliminate breast cancer once and for all.

Absolutely anyone can host their own Game Day, from parents who enjoy a quiet game with their kids all the way to people who haven’t seen the Sun since Elden Ring released.

With 20,000 Australians expected to be diagnosed with breast cancer in 2022, the opportunity to show support for your loved ones who suffer from the dreadful illness is more than welcome.

To participate, you need only register you Game Day event, set a goal for yourself to achieve, and invite people to donate in support of the cause while you battle Smash Brothers as one of several tiny pink balls or complete 200 Wordle’s in a day.

NBCF CEO associate professor Cleola Anderiesz says NBCF’s Game Day is an innovative way to raise much-needed funds for breast cancer research.

“More and more Australians think of themselves as gamers and we are so grateful to the community for getting
behind Game Day,” said Anderiesz. “By holding a Game Day this May anyone can join our
Quest to Zero Deaths and help to create a future without deaths from breast cancer.”

There’s also plenty of prizes to be won by those who participate, including goodies provided by BenQ, Asus Republic of Gamers, TAGMods and The Oodie.
