Clive Palmer To Launch Longest Ever 45-Minute Political Ad

The United Australia Party leader plans to release a 45-minute ad, which will kickstart his $100 million political campaign.

Palmer has already agreed with three of Australia’s largest media corporations to air his new ad on their channels, with the 68-year-old hoping to let the Australian public know a bit more about his life and his vision through this video.

Palmer’s camp see this as more of an opportunity for their leader to discuss his contribution to the nation’s economy via this feature-length ad, through which their campaign for this year’s federal elections will officially begin.

Nine are one of the media corporations who have agreed to air Palmer’s latest ad on one of their channels, although according to reports, the ad will initially be viewed by the channel’s editorial team before it is officially given the green light to launch. The ad will launch on either 9Go or 9Gem.

Seven has also come to a similar agreement with Palmer an the United Australian Part, with the ad said to launch sometime between April and May on either 7Two or 7mate, while Palmer is said to be fleshing out the final details in his agreement with Ten.

However Sky News have reportedly rejected the ad due to its length, but have stated to Palmer and his party that they would be more than willing to air any of their future campaigns.

This ad alone is said to be putting the 68-year-old back a few hundreds of thousands of dollars, leading many to question the amounts that will eventually be spent by the Liberal and Labour groups, with the elections only a few short weeks away.
