Omnicom Joins The Long List Of Companies To Withdraw From Russia

The Omnicom Group is the latest company to cease its operations in Russia due to the country’s invasion in Ukraine and the ongoing war, as they confirmed via a press release yesterday.

According to the statement, the US-based media and marketing group has adopted a plan which will leave the company’s clients unaffected by the departure, while Omnicom’s co-workers in Russia will be financially secure for the years to come.

The statement goes on to stress that Omnicom gives priority to the safety and well-being of all the company’s people in Ukraine, who number well over 200, with the nation currently being affected by the ongoing war and the invasion by Russia. Furthermore, the group remains in close contact with other agencies in order to provide assistance of any form to the suffering people of Ukraine.

The statement concludes with the Omnicom group sharing their wishes for a swift conclusion to the conflict and their hopes for the safety of their colleagues in the suffering nation.
