W Magazine Desperately Trying To Recall Its Travis Scott & Kylie Jenner Cover

W Magazine is reportedly desperately trying to replace its December cover starring Travis Scott and Kylie Jenner, in the wake of the recent deaths at the Astroworld festival.

According to Indy100 – the magazine is attempting to have the previously shot and created issue pulled before it hits shelves, out of concern the cover will now seem tone-deaf.

Indy100 also reported that the issue has already been printed and was meant to feature an interview with the famous couple. However, now the magazine is doing a mad dash trying to recall it before readers can get their hands on it.

Scott, who is one of the most famous rappers in the world was performing at Astroworld Festive, when the crowd surged, resulting in 10 deaths and over 300 people being injured.

Both Scott and Jenner have faced backlash over how they handled the tragedies at Astroworld and according to ABC,  there have been allegations made against Scott that he has a history of encouraging crowds to behave dangerously.

Jenner also came under fire for posting a story on Instagram of the crowd that included a visible ambulance in the middle of it trying to help people.

Scott’s public statement on the tragedy was also roasted on Twitter for lacking warmth and empathy. While Scott did express remorse for the victims, many didn’t think he understood the gravity of the situation.

The BBC has also reported that he has now also been named in a 750 million lawsuit.

Basically, it’s not an ideal time to have the couple on the cover discussing their aspirational lives, while so many victims from Astroworld are still in hospital recovering or have passed away.
