Since launching in April 2021, TikTok Trending on iHeartRadio has gone from strength to strength, reaching 128,000 weekly listeners across Australia on DAB+ and much more streaming on iHeartRadio.

Now, the partnership is expanding to include TikTok Trending exclusively on The Edge every Friday morning. The station has also launched in New Zealand, in collaboration with NZME.

TikTok Trending on The Edge will feature some of Australia’s hottest DJs, including Paris Lawrence, who will bring weekend vibes and the official music trends every Friday.

Each week it will premiere in the Mike E & Emma Breakfast Show, serving up the hottest music trends from established and emerging artists from TikTok.

After TikTok Trending airs on The Edge – Sydney’s #1 commercial DAB+ hip hop and RnB station and proven launchpad for new music and artists – encore versions will be featured across the weekend and into the following week.

The mix can also be heard on TikTok Trending on iHeartRadio. Trending tracks from TikTok will also be played on KIIS 1065 each weeknight.

ARN’s head of digital audio, Corey Layton, said: “TikTok Trending on iHeartRadio has been a hugely successful collaboration between iHeartRadio Australia and TikTok, delivering audiences the hottest content straight from the creators.

“We’re excited to extend the partnership with the launch of TikTok Trending on The Edge and the expansion in New Zealand with NZME.

“The Edge is a proven launchpad for new music and artists – we know that the audience will love kicking off the weekend with this content!”

Ollie Wards, director of Music, TikTok Australia and New Zealand added: “TikTok Trending on iHeartRadio is a great listen when you want to stay on the TikTok buzz, but your eyes are busy.

“We’re excited to now bring our best trending tracks to The Edge each week, plus to all my whānau at home in NZ.”

Just like TikTok’s For You feed, TikTok Trending on iHeartRadio provides TikTok for your ears when your eyes are busy, showcasing the best music, artists and creators behind the videos, songs and trends on TikTok.

The station broadcasts 24/7 as part of a partnership between ARN’s iHeartRadio Australia and TikTok. Guest hosts on TikTok Trending on iHeartRadio have included Amy Shark, Delta Goodrem, Mashd N Kutcher, Rita Ora, Jaycee, Guy Sebastian, h3rizon, Havana Brown, Sophie Monk, Ula and more.

TikTok Trending on iHeartRadio is available exclusively on iHeartRadio Australia.

TikTok Trending on The Edge can be heard in Sydney on The Edge 96.1 and nationally on The Edge DAB+ and The Edge iHeartRadio station.
