Burger King Unveils Halloween Campaign & It’s Actually Terrifying!

Always a brand quick to jump on Halloween’s marketing opportunity, fast food giant Burger King has unveiled its latest work for the scariest day of the year and, it has to be said, it’s actually rather terrifying.

Called “3am Apparitions”, the ad argues you’re most likely to be visisted by ghosts and ghouls at that early morning hour. However, the good news is, this year, if you experience a demonic possession, Burger King will sling you a free burger as part if its Halloween promotion.

The scary spot’s the work of Madrid agency David and will run across Argentina, Belgium, Brazil, China, Spain and other global markets, but not Australia.

Commenting on the spot, David’s executive creative director André Toledo said: “Every Halloween, Burger King is looking for different ways to engage with its customers. This year, we decided to give a reward to the brave ones: those who dare to be awake at the scariest time of day, during the scariest week of the year.”
