Australian marketing technology consultancy, The Lumery, has been on a national recruitment spree, adding seven new members to its team, including 4 in Melbourne, 2 in Sydney and 1 in Brisbane.

The appointments follow a strong period of growth, driven by new client wins and an expansion of remits with several existing clients.

Among the new recruits is Paula Harrison, a strategic hire who joins The Lumery’s executive leadership team as group client director. Harrison is a seasoned consultant and agency leader with a proven track record in driving growth at consultancies in the UK, Asia Pacific and Australia. Reporting directly to managing director, Rajan Kumar, Harrison will be focused on building strategic partnerships and delivering value in client relationships.

The Lumery has also significantly bolstered its insights and analytics capabilities, appointing Kate Cook – as data & analytics Lead, and Danny Sittrop as senior analytics strategist.

Cook and Sittrop each have over a decade of experience and their arrival aims to take The Lumery’s data and attribution capabilities to new levels, reflecting clients’ growing demand for help in making better use of data within their marketing programs.

The Lumery’s Adobe specialisation also received a major boost with the appointment of two new marketing automation specialists; Hassan Yousuf and Adam Nathan, while the Strategy team welcomed reinforcements with Jessica Tekin as a business analyst and Chris Pearce – former digital marketing manager and experimentation lead at News Corp Australia – joining as senior customer strategist.

Newly appointed, group client director, Paula Harrison, said: “The Lumery is an incredible team of talented people focused on helping clients as they navigate through the sometimes, murky waters of marketing technology for some of the most iconic Australian and international brands.

“The growth and momentum they’re achieving speak to the demand for their unique approach to partnering with clients, not just to design and execute winning MarTech strategies but to boost their internal capabilities too.

“I’m looking forward to getting on board and helping to grow its already enviable client roster.”

Managing director of The Lumery, Rajan Kumar, said: “We are thrilled to add such first-class talent across our offices and ranks with this raft of new hires, particularly as it’s such a challenging talent market.

“These new hires bring important reinforcements in areas where we’re seeing strong demand, as our clients are accelerating programs in personalisation, experimentation, attribution and cross channel marketing.”

The Lumery still has more roles to fill, with seven vacancies remaining across its marketing automation, customer strategy, business analysis, experience design, delivery, and marketing teams.
