Thursday TV Wrap: Nine News Takes The Lead In Tentative Thursday

Last night had no big name prime time programs, leaving news and current affairs to dominate the ratings.

In first place was Nine News wih 1,082,000 viewers, just beating Seven News which had 1,075,000.

Next was ABC News with 726,000 followed by A Current Affair 710,000.

The top-performing non-news was The Chase with 581,000, followed by Nine’s Hot Seat with 534,000 .

Also on the entertainment ratings was Home and Away which peaked at 530,000 for the regular episode and 453,000 for the late episode.

The rest of Nine’s night had RBT with 435,000, as well as a repeat of Paramedics with 364,000 and the Afternoon News wirh 358,000.

For the ABC, 7.30 had 575,000 viewers and Foreign Correspondent had 399,000.

Over on 10, The Project had 404,000 and 10 News First had 391,000.

Seven’s Thursday night AFL had 423,000.

The Seven Network won the night with 32.2 per cent of the daily share, followed by the Nine Network with 24.4 per cent. In third was the ABC TV Network with 17.5 per cent, while Network 10 had 14.4 per cent and the SBS Network had 10.2 per cent.
