Samsung CMO Josh Grace Among Several To Exit Tech Giant’s Corporate Marketing Team

Samsung Electronics Australia has confirmed a number of high-profile departures from its corporate marketing team.

In a statement to B&T, Samsung said the reorganisation follows “an evolution in the roles required in the team”.

“Product marketing has been managed within the respective divisions for several years, which will continue,” the company said.

“Corporate marketing remains an important part of Samsung’s business, leading brand and reputation.”

Mick Armstrong (head of digital, data and platforms), Beau Curtis (head of media and partnerships) and Rebecca Johnson (media and partnerships manager) will all exit their roles at Samsung as part of the restructure.

However, the biggest name to be leaving the electronics behemoth is chief marketing officer Josh Grace (pictured), who joined Samsung more than three years ago and was named Marketer of the Year at last year’s B&T Awards.

Grace confirmed to B&T that he will depart Samsung next month, and plans to focus on a new sustainability-focused business venture.
