Cuppa Of Life And MOOD Pair Up To Tackle Mental Health Concerns
Virtual cafe Cuppa Of Life has teamed up with social enterprise MOOD for a new conversation and learning series created in response to the rise in mental health concerns in Australia.
‘Boost your mood with our mood experts’ is a virtual series designed to boost the mood of companies and their teams across Australia.
In each 60 second session, one of twenty experts including Sarah Wilson, Dr Katrina Warren, Kerri Pottharst and Commando Steve, will share crucial lessons on how mood affects every aspect of life and work.
Users select from four conversation streams linked to MOOD Tea varieties and teams can enjoy $1,000 worth of product during the sessions. All profits from MOOD Tea sales go towards funding mental health projects to save young Australian lives.
Founder and Host of Cuppa Of Life, Luke Cook, commented, “we launched the Cuppa Of Life virtual cafe over 12 months ago when the world turned upside down with COVID. Our aim was to help people remain positive and inspired by connecting them to incredible experts and storytellers.”
“Our partnership with MOOD will not only empower people to make a difference in their own lives but also support the incredible mental youth charities that are the focus of MOOD’s efforts.”
Jenni Hayward, General Manager of MOOD provider Little Colossus added: “MOOD is committed to fighting the number one killer of young Australians; youth suicide. With one in eight Australians currently experiencing high or very high psychological distress, there’s never been a more important time for an initiative like this.
“Partnering with Cuppa Of Life provides a strong and relevant platform to remind people of this critical issue and, through buying MOOD tea, a direct way of helping.”
To kickstart the partnership, Cuppa Of Life will be providing the first of their conversation series with preventative mental health organisation batyr. This free event will be held this Friday, May 28th at 8.30am (AEST).
