Strategic Insights Agency Nature Takes Four Gongs At Research Society Awards
B&T’s Research Agency Of The Year, strategic insights consultancy Nature, was a big winner at the Research Society Awards last night, taking home four prestigious honours.
Nature won the Research Effectiveness Award for Technology and Innovation for its work for Don KRC; Managing Partner Chris Crook (main photo) was accepted into the Research Society’s Fellowship; and a paper co-presented by Nature at the Research Society’s conference yesterday collected two awards.
Also, Nature’s Amelia Norton received a Highly Commended in the Young Researcher of the Year category.
Dr Crook said: “We are honoured to receive such incredible industry recognition. The efforts of our teams in Melbourne and Sydney have not gone unnoticed, and it’s empowered us to just keep doing what we’re doing – it seems like it’s working.
“While our people and client relationships have always. and will always. underpin our success, it’s increasingly important to push the limits of what’s possible with technology in getting closer to the consumer and human truth.
“Receiving the Research Effectiveness Award for Technology and Innovation really recognises the work we’ve doing on this front. This award will continue to focus our efforts on doing what’s best for our clients in a way that harnesses the latest technology, as well as offering great development and growth opportunities for our great team,” he said.
Dr Crook was accepted into the Research Society’s Fellowship based on his contribution to the industry, advancement of practices within the field, his enhancement of industry awareness throughout a multitude of presentations and public comments, and his efforts to develop and evolve the market research and consumer insights profession.
Nature’s Sydney Managing Partner, James Jayesuria, said: “We can think of few people who have been of more service to the research profession than Chris. His dedication and diligence are something we at Nature are very proud of and can only hope to aspire to.”
Beauty and the Beast: Kmart and the beauty category, a paper authored by Nature’s Bethan Whaley, The Lab Insight and Strategy’s Mark Hobart and Kmart’s Ngaia Calder, won two awards last night: Most Engaging Production and People Choice’s Award.
Nature Partner and Melbourne Managing Director, Justin Connally, congratulated Amelia’s on her Highly Commended citation.
“The recognition for Amelia is very well-deserved. We are extremely proud of Amelia and all our young people, who are the next generation of research experts and leaders.”
