GRAND FINALE

.

Seven’s evening news and the finale to Dancing With The Stars have combined to give the network a Sunday night win.

It’s 6pm news bulletin was the most watched show of the night, pulling 1.168 million viewers according to OzTAM metro numbers.

Meanwhile Dancing did 802,000 rising to 827,000 for the announcement of the winner (Home And Away actor Luke Jacobz).

All this meant Nine’s typically unbeatable Lego Masters got beaten. It could only build to 715,000 last night.

10’s MasterChef simmered to 527,000.

Seven won the night with 31.2 per cent of the audience share (all channels). Nine did 29.1 per cent, 10 did 18.6 per cent, the ABC had 13 per cent and SBS did a neat eight.

Standouts for Nine were its 6pm news (938,000), 60 Minutes (432,000) and Australian Crime Stories (225,000).

Seven’s Danger Close: The Battle Of Long Tan did 264,000.

In the battle of the footy codes, Seven’s AFL coverage had an impressive 668,000 to Nine’s NRL with 289,000.

10’s best – MasterChef aside – was The Sunday Project (328,000) and 10 News First (269,000).

The ABC’s night ran this way: 7pm news (541,000) and Spicks And Specks (444,000).

Meanwhile SBS had a rare show in the evening’s top 20 with Russia: 100 Years Of History pulling 278,000.
