Spikes Asia has released shortlists across 23 categories for the awards, with 682 pieces of work shortlisted to be awarded APAC’s most prestigious creative branded communications accolade.

The works are being judged by 83 creative leaders from across APAC and the world. Australia led the shortlists with 169 pieces of work, followed by India and New Zealand who are tied with 93 each.

Shortlists have also been released for the Tangrams, sponsored by InMobi, which recognise strategy and effectiveness in the region. Juries are judging work across five categories: Effectiveness, Media Strategy, Digital Strategy, Data & Analytics and eCommerce, and have shortlisted a total of 90 entries.

China leads the rankings with 22 pieces of work shortlisted.

Judging for the Spikes Asia Awards, as well as the Tangrams Awards and Young Spikes competitions has been taking place throughout February.

In place of the live Awards Ceremony, winners will be announced via the Spikes Asia online platform, with the Bronze, Silver and Gold winners released on 1 March and the Grand Prix and Special Award winners announced on 4 March.

All of the shortlists, as well as further details on the announcement of this year’s winners, can be found at spikes.asia. The Tangrams Awards shortlist can be found at www.tangrams.asia.

Also released today are the winners of the Young Spikes Competitions. The Film and Integrated competitions provide APAC’s next generation of creative talent a unique chance to gain recognition and make their mark on the industry.
