Social media and online community management specialist Quiip has announced a restructure, promoting four staff to newly created roles.

In response to business growth of 15 per cent over the past year, Quiip has created three Director roles, as well as investing in an enhanced content offering.

Senior Community Consultant Amber Robinson (right, pictured) has been appointed Marketing Director, while Senior Community Consultants Larah Kennedy (left, pictured) and Lauren Piro have been promoted to Client Services Director and People and Culture Director, respectively. Pierette Langford will lead social content services.

Amber, who joined the business in April this year, is an experienced digital specialist with a background in journalism, digital strategy, content marketing and social media. She has led some of Australia’s largest online communities for women and managed consumer and B2B social media for brands including Microsoft and Lenovo.

Larah has spent five years at Quiip working with clients on their community engagement strategy and execution. She has previously held community-focused roles including Senior Project Officer on the Health Towns program for NSW’s North Coast Primary Health Network and Community and Social Media Manager for 12WBT and Resonate Solutions.

Lauren has worked for Quiip for 10 years, rising through the ranks with previous roles including Team Lead and ‘Happiness Sherpa’, where she embraced the opportunity to focus on staff development and wellbeing at the non-traditional, B Corp certified company that champions the future of work and values radical flexibility.

Pierette brings seven years of graphic design and social media production expertise to her new role as Content and Community Manager. She has worked for Coca-Cola as a Senior Social Media Producer and was a member of Ogilvy’s award-winning social team.

Alison Michalk, CEO of Quiip, said: “Our restructure to accommodate these promotions reflects the quality and ability of our proven high performing team to grow into more senior roles, and our unwavering commitment to driving a diverse, inclusive, people-first work culture within our business. Additionally, we have recognised the need to nurture our growing client base and help them manage their online presence comprehensively – particularly with the renewed focus on online delivery models due to COVID-19. Additional content services will allow our clients the piece of mind to meet all their social and online community needs with one service provider.”

The new roles were effective as of 1 September.
